Biography
Samuel Truninger, known artistically as Nurnoloco, was born in Winterthur, Switzerland, into a deeply musical environment. His father, a jazz and blues producer, exposed him early to a wide spectrum of sounds, while his Chilean roots connected him to the rich rhythms and emotional depth of Latin American music.
This unique cultural foundation shaped his distinctive sound: a vibrant fusion of Tropical, Urban, and Latin influences.
From a young age, Nurnoloco demonstrated strong musical talent, mastering the double bass and developing a deep sense of rhythm and melody that continues to define his artistic identity. His music explores themes of life, love, and human connection, aiming to create moments that move and unite listeners.
Musical Career
Nurnoloco’s musical journey reached a major milestone with the release of his debut album Notas de Amor in May 2023. Produced by acclaimed Latin music producer Elkeretumba, known for his work with artists such as Nacho, Nicky Jam, and Wisin & Yandel, the album highlighted Nurnoloco’s unique fusion of genres and emotional storytelling.
The album reached #1 on the iTunes Latin Music Charts in Switzerland, marking a significant breakthrough in his career.
Success
With Notas de Amor, Nurnoloco gained consistent airplay on major Swiss radio stations including RTS, SRF Virus, and Radio Energy Zürich. Tracks such as Morena and Talvez stood out, while several songs from his catalog continue to receive strong rotation.
Morena gained viral traction on Instagram, inspiring over 600 Reels and helping drive Nurnoloco past 300,000 streams on Spotify, reinforcing his growing international presence.
Collaborations & Developement
Alongside his solo career, Nurnoloco has collaborated with artists such as Pau Mueller and Florencia Yunis, expanding his sound across borders.
